Always a month to remember
A period of celebration of the birth of our redeemer
Everyone seems to mark their calendars
Bookings and reservations are made
Families gather together from different parts
To share the joy within their hearts
Bringing gifts to show their love
Solemnly singing hymns to their saviour above
The excitement of fireworks
The joy of knowing you'll get time off work
Lots of food to eat and things to drink
Beautiful voices singing the carols
The stories of the wise men bearing gifts are told
To both the young ones and to those who are old
Its this time of the year that it starts to get cold
There are a lot of things I love about Christmas
But in all its the love, the togetherness and the care that is in the air that makes it all special
As we enter another period of festivities
Remember the simple message
God loved, God gave, we believe and we receive
