The 'Christ' in Christmas

Compliments of the season everyone! Happy Christmas eve :D

I just want to share a quick thought in the craziness of it all - Don't forget the Christ factor in your Christmas!!!

In the Merriment, FORGIVE!
Forgive those that have offended you this year and celebrate with full joy! Enjoy the people and places around you and let go of anger and hurt this season. God was willing to forgive us and so He sent His son! :)

In the Activity, SACRIFICE!
You might be used to a certain routine but it doesn't hurt to change it up once in a while especially of it means helping someone. So instead of spending all your money on your tradition of new shoes every year, get your mum that new frying pan she needs or buy that one pack of Christmas rice for your neighbour down the street. Remember if Jesus didn't sacrifice His throne for your sake, where would you be?

In the Socialising, LOVE!
This one seems easy but I'll tell you this. It's not about showing love to just our family - Its about showing love to our colleagues at work and in school, our bosses and employees, the LASTMA official who sweeps your street or the security man that opens the gate for you regularly. Despite the fellowship and the adoration and worship Jesus enjoyed in heaven, His love for us still pushed Him to come and save us despite the fact that we didn't deserve it and there was no guarantee that we'd accept this love, yet He showed it. So go out this season and show love!

In the midst of the MAS (Merriment, Activity and Socialising), don't forget the Christ - His forgiveness, sacrifice and love because there really isn't Christmas without the Christ!!!

P.S. You need the MAS too :D

Merry Christmas in advance!

God's Girl
