Hi guys!!! I don’t remember saying happy new month in my last post so ….
It was awesome scoping out some of your bright faces today – both on stage and in the congregation because last week was just a mad house! (I mean that in a good way :D ).
Anyway, as annual thanksgiving Sunday has come and gone, don’t let your attitude of thanksgiving come and go too!
Today, let's look at the Central Intelligence Agency for a minute. Yes the C.I.A!
Their primary mission is to collect, analyze. evaluate and disseminate foreign intelligence to assist the president and senior US government policy makers in making decisions relating to national security.
The major threat to the kingdom of God is the devil stealing souls and as a Kingdom agent, your mission is to foil his plans. Bottom line - You're C.I.A.
Yes C.I.A. - I stumbled on this blog recently to read a post titled 'Jesus in Jeans' and the blog just caught my attention.
C.I.A. = Christed I Am
What exactly does that mean? Pastor Kunat’s sermon today comes to mind – I am adopted through Christ to be a Christian!!!
It's easy to say we're Christians and try to live our lives within God's boundaries but I think it goes beyond that. I feel like when you are ‘Christed’, you become Christ in this world. It's just like when you are knighted, you hold that title and act accordingly.
I believe the main issue today is that we often get stuck in the
'Heal my heart and make it clean
Open up my eyes to the things unseen
Show me how to love like you have loved me'
phase but being 'Christed' is more than that. It's getting to the point of
'Break my heart for what breaks Yours
Everything I am for Your kingdom's cause
As I walk from earth into eternity'
and actually meaning it. It means when God hurts, you hurt too. All you are, your family, your JOB, your food, your phone, your TIME - all should be for His kingdom's cause; to win souls. It means all day everyday till you leave earth - there's no break time on this mission.
It's hard and its a real struggle but it's possible. Check out the blog (you can click on the link up there! I personally like the Regene series. You can check out that too :) ) Its been a blessing to me so far. May God help us remain rooted in Him.
God's Girl.
P.S. Lyrics are from Hillsong's Hosanna. Download it, it's a pretty powerful worship song!
P.P.S. Love feast this Saturday!!! Don't come alone oh - bring SOMETHING!!!
