Created to be in love

Hiiiiiiiiiii everyone!! It's not mid month yet but you would all agree with me that this year is flying!!!

Anyway, relationship and love talk have just been flying over my head lately but that's not the reason for this post.

Created to be 'in love' - not to love or be loved but to be in love. This phrase got me thinking ... What does it mean to be in love? 

Is it the way Tayo gets up in the mornings to cook breakfast for Linda even though he hates early mornings,  or the way Halima's face lights up when she's talking about Chuka? - Me I don't know.

All I know is that because it's a core part of our functioning, there's a vacuum there if we're not in love. Now I know y'all expect me to go all spiritual on you and say be in love with God and you'll be fine. Well ... You will be fine but your purpose is more than that. 

Work in love - give your best to your employer no matter how annoying he can get

Walk in love - encourage and give to those in need around you

Pray in love - tell God what you want Him to do for someone as of it was you and dont pray for anothers downfall

Eat in love - dont be a glutton, people are hungry and don't cause your eating to make the weaker brethren sin. And for heavens sake please don't waste food!

Drive in love - even when the Danfo driver is obviously wrong but still proceeds to shout 'were' and zoom off and you have the opportunity to 'do him back' when he's begging for space in your lane in front, LET IT GO!!! *grin*

To be is a state of existence, therefore to be in love is a state of existence as well.

So though we hope to find our Tayos and Halimas someday, we have to constantly be in love - Wherever we find ourselves, wherever He's placed us!!!
