Bodycase!

You must have heard that line too manytimes. The less interesting thing is; ‘our Christianity’ is focused on just two of those entities. The church hardly dwell much on the body entity except when referencing ‘canal things’. Truth is; that doesn’t make it less important because it’s an undiniable ‘case’ we must carry and care for, whether we like it or not.

Since man is a spirit, which he was even before he was born …“I knew you even before you were conceived”Jer 1:5, then who chose your body case? Did God seek your consent before deciding which‘body case’ to put you in? Wouldn’t you have preferred to be white, pink, yellow or dark in complexion? Did an Albinochoose his own body case? How about the home movie stars; Akin & Pawpaw? If you don’t have the answers to my questions, neither do I. We’l ask God when we get to heaven. But the BIG question is; now that we are here, WHAT NEXT? Now that you are in ‘this body case’, WHAT NEXT?

 

Pastor Emmanuel in his teaching during the last Tuesday fellowship answered that “the NEXT thing is: study yourself, accept yourself and LIKE yourself! According to him “You are not Denzel Washington, so kill it! You cannot be Beyonce, so kill it!” Yes, you would have preferred to be taller, but now that you are short unko? “…my boobs are too small…” Ehen? Will that deprive you of breastfeeding? “… My nose is too big” Aaaah! Sorry o! So you cannot breath with it again, right? “…I want sexy eyes” Me too! I hear it comes with super-light rays that helps you see in the dark … lol.

Friends, with the way the World is going, especially now that artificial body fixtures are now available in the market, a lot of Christian couples are in for a scary surprise on their wedding night (since as Christians, we don’t get to run some ‘executable programs’ before marriage ...you know what I mean;-). Me I have a way to take a very close shot sha! You have to pay me to share the secret *laughing*

 

 

My point is:

ü It is important that you accept and ‘like’ your bodycase! Surgery is risky & expensive and ‘gorging’ is deceitful.

ü It is also important that you create an atmosphere you want to carry. Chose an atmosphere that will encourage what you want to see.

ü Cultivate what you want, then you may get ‘close to’ what you want. Truth is; you will never get exactly what you want, so face it! As a matter of fact, everybody dies with a want, one need or the other in their lifetime!

 

You were created to impact the World with the investment of your personality. If you bodycase could stop you from becoming… your Designer would not have put you there. Do it right! Love yourself!! If you don’t who will?
