You are invited to apply for the 2011 IE-ALB Foundation Scholarship to pursue an International MBA programme in November 2011. This year, two (2) prestigious awards covering full tuition (100%) for the International MBA programme at the prestigious IE Business School in Madrid, Spain are on offer to motivated, entrepreneurial and socially committed Africans.
IE Business School is considered one of Europe's leading business schools by international journals like Financial Times, The Economist, Wall Street Journal and América Economía. These publications recognise IE Business School as a leader in academic areas like entrepreneurship, or in the field of learning technologies.
The Foundation for African Leadership in Business offers fellowships to African citizens for completion of an International MBA. We aim to nurture socially responsible African Business Leaders by providing access to international business education programs and encouraging cooperation among Foundation members. In doing so, we promote intercultural communications, investment in Africa and the exchange of ideas in the international business arena.

2. Formal application for the scholarship to IE Financial Aid by submitting the below documents.

Documents to Submit to IE Financial Aid:
1. CV/Resume (1 page)
2. Two essays (each min. 250, max. 500 words) on the following topics:
a) In your opinion, what are the recent advances and current challenges in your sector that African leaders must most pressingly be able to manage?
b) In your point of view, how can the African Union increase its authority and influence on matters of regional importance and economic development?
3. Why should you be granted this scholarship?
4. Recommended documents (optional): Any other document that could provide further evidence of the fulfillment of the criteria on the basis of which the scholarship is awarded:
a) Economic need: Last 3 pay slips of the scholarship applicant, bank statements and/or the Tax Declaration of the person who will be paying the program fees.
b) Academic, professional and personal merits: prizes, investigations, publications, certificates granted for voluntary work, etc.
