I’m talking to you - the Singles in the house. You are next on the lineJ! I know Ejiro Ijaola (a.k.a. Kolo for Christ) will yell at this mail with a large ‘YES O!’ when he sees it! His wedding comes up on the 2nd of October, 2010. But who says yours can’t come before then? Huh?... Would you like to PROVOKE our God into it?
It’s ok to be afraid to take the bold step, but don’t tarry in that fear for too long. If you ask those that have gotten married, they will tell you there is always a time when you develop cold feet…even a few days to the ‘D-day’. You will be wishing you had a muse or genie or even an Oracle to tell you what the future holds with the choice you are about to make…looking for the answers to all the ‘What if's’ that are plaguing your mind…LOL!
Here is a thought pattern I would like to share:
“…I know that there is no need looking for the ‘perfect’ one,
Because I will never find one
Even if I find a perfect one, because I’m not perfect myself,
Then there is still work to be done…
But I know that the Lord has deposited some gifts in me…
One of such is the ability to make imperfect become perfect.
The more I stir up this gift, the better I become for my spouse…until the perfect day!
If Jesus died for her and she knows it, then she’s worth the try…
Unless she’s someone whom I cannot love…”
