Be Careful & Stay Connected!

SAP is an Enterprise Resource Planning system that I learned in one of the 5 biggest companies in Asia (L&T Infotech). After my training I realized there were very few SAP installations in Nigeria (at that time) and my area of training (Development) was hard to find. Then I settled for the readily available ERP (Microsoft). But over the years, more than 50 Nigerians have called me on phone to enquire/solicit for advice on SAP as a career path (they got my number via a post I made about SAP online). I’ve been mostly helpful.

A couple of weeks ago, I got another of such faceless calls and this time it was request for SAP HR end user resource. I contacted some of my SAP guys for the job but they were mostly engaged. Then I thought to myself, why not me? It’s high time I got back into SAP line. I got all relevant documentation plus Company info then prepared all night and went for the interview. When I got to the venue, it was weird. I called the supposed HR manager and he further gave me creepy descriptions. Then I asked him an intelligent question and he failed. Quickly I discerned that he was either a 419 or a ritualist.

I was not vexed. I simply gave thanks to God for saving me and I prayed for the guy. Sent him a prayer text too; that the Holy Spirit will help him see the Light in time.

Sometimes we get to a point in life when we are sure that God has finally sent an Angel to lift us to a new level or we get very excited about a new opportunity or offer, but let’s not forget to pray along all the way. I actually called Rev Babalola a few hours before I left for the venue and he prayed with me. I can’t tell what would have happened if the Holy Spirit did not rescue me from the snares of the fowler just in time!

Stay connected! The blessings/promises of God will surely come and there will be no sorrows added to it.

Do have a great week! And see you tomorrow in Fellowship with Dn Obalade. Our financial status must change for the better!
