It’s time once again to Xtend!

I was driving to my abode in the cool of the evening when I heard Joel Osteen’s voice on the radio as I tried flipping satiations on my car stereo. With one eye on the road trying to avoid the bad spots along the CMS/VI link towards Bony Camp, I tuned in and lucked down on it:-).

Joel is one preacher I love to listen to and this time, he was reaching out to those who have made 'king-sized' mistakes in their lives; hence they feel it’s the reason for their ‘deserved’ prolonged sufferings or mishap. To this effect, some Christians get reluctant to call God for help. When they try to pray, the devil runs a flashback thru their minds reminding them of their ugly past and by so doing, preventing them from making progress.

THE QUESTION IS; if you were a parent and you heard your little kid crying out for help from the play ground and as you peeped from your window, you saw the child hanging from a tree about to break. Would you rather cross check a list of dos and don’ts to see if the child has been good or his/her school report card for good grades before you decide whether to help him or not? A thousand times… NO! So why do we sometimes assume that God is letting us suffer because of our sins? Renew your minds and ask God for help today, knowing fully that He is more than compassionate to hear and attend to anything that we ask for. Yes He is!

In this coming Easter, Foresight is going to mark yet another tremendous milestone achievement in line with her calendar of activities for the year. Xtend is a Foresight Easter programme designed to reach out and impact communities around us. The people of Obasun community in Aguda environs will not forget in a hurry Foresight impartation at this same season last year. This time, New Realm Baptist Church Youths will be leading us to touch a community in their environment on Easter Saturday.
Did you ask why Easter Sat? Well, it’s a perfect season to show love to the needy and helpless, just as Jesus did (left His comfort Zone to redeem us). As you continue to burn for Christ, pushing the Good News to every nook & cranny, His Love will continually abound in you and all that is yours. Amen!

We need you! Foresight needs your committed presence and support.
Be a part:-)
