I was selected to implement an off-shore project just within a few months of my employment in my new office. I considered it a privilege because it was a challenge that will take me to the next level. But a few weeks to the final stage (actual deployment), some key members of my project team resigned (changed jobs). Now my company says I have to learn implementation procedures of all modules (installation, configuration, deployment and training of staff) because I will be travelling alone to site. This is supposed to be a 3-4 man job. I thank God for His Grace! It’s sufficient for me. As I speak to you now, my office computer that I virtualized to enable me run all processes that I’m deploying on site has just crashed. This is barely 2 days after my flash drive (original) failed. This is a Sunday morning (28th Feb) and I’m not in church. I’m busy transferring and installing all my applications into my younger brother laptop as an emergency measure. My boss says I must travel tomorrow morning. So by the time you get this mail, I will be in Ghana. Don’t pity for me. Rather, say a word of prayer, because no matter the facts that the devil puts before me, the word of God is the only reality and it says “I will Shine”.
Cheer up brethren! Someone already conquered on my behalf. I’m now more than a conqueror. My task schedule for the off-shore implementation is for four weeks. Despite all odds, I’m going to break the record by doing all tasks in 3 weeks. However, if in 6 weeks I’m still not back, do not be perturbed. It just may be that, one Ghanaian babe’s trap don catch me… (I’ll send an apology postcard to all my Nigerian girlfriends…LOL!) If in three months I’m still not back, then it’s most definite that I have started a daughter church over there. I will call it New Foresight Baptist Church. Hallelujah! (LWKM!…even when I have so much work to do!)
Don’t forsake the Tuesday fellowship of thy brethren; Deaconess Misan was more than a blessing last Tue. Every other Tuesday will not leave you the same way you came.
There’s enough technology to keep us all in touch. Vice President Tochi will always pass you my brief.
Lots of Love!
