Have you ever wondered why hunters
or snipers always close one eye while aiming at their targets? I guess we all
know - To avoid DISTRACTION!
Chidimma, a pretty, elegant, tall
and brilliant girl I met in my teenage days gave me the ‘green lights’ and I
had to ‘be a man’ and make ‘the move’ (youthful exorbitance/escapades). I practically
ripped over 40 leaves of the popular 'ONWARD' long notebook just to write one convincing and acceptable page
of love letter which half of the entire girls-hostel got to see at the end of
the day…lol. My friends would hail me (thumbs up!) and encourage me to be bold.
Some would dramatically depict what I stand to gain – the pleasure of her warm
embrace (the babe had attractively enormous bosom size). Since then, I always
thought the prettiest girls are the ‘big bosom’ girls. But when I met Sandra at
age 21, I saw things differently. There was a beauty that appealed better than bosom
– the hips! Sandra didn’t have much of boobs but her curves…Ooolala! was a
killer! I would dream of her every night and in my bed time prayers, I would
ask God to discharge some of my personal angels to be with her (I don do mumu things before sha…lol). Later I found myself falling in love with Habiba, a
female colleague in my office before I realized that she had neither of those
qualities. She had this inner beauty that radiated like a sweet smelling fragrance
(very lovely attitude). And then just last week, while doing a transaction at
FCMB Ojuelegbe, I met charming Bisi. Bisi is whom guys would refer to as ‘too
package’ or 'full-option'. In addition to her nice complexion, fresh skin,
good height fine legs, Bisi has both front and back in excellent measures and I
was like… what!!! Where have you been all my life?
My point exactly? Chioma, Sandra
or Habiba all have their special gifting. Bisi may seem to have it all, but
wait until you see Adamma - the next ‘Bisi’ with a better measure, pressed down, shaken
together and running over…lol, you will know that the beautiful ones are truly,
not yet born. If a man does not
deliberately keep the second eye shut while aiming at his target, he will keep
seeing another Bisi walking pass the
other side of the road…
Distraction can be a lot of things
to different people. God gave us two eyes (a pair) not for us to be seeing
double-double...lol. The ability to
focus and stay focused is a virtue a man must keep. When you are searching
(in the ‘find’ mode), looking for whom to point your ‘gun’ at (remember our
principle – find-point-aim- and shoot!),
your two eyes MUST be wide open. Infact add two more (wear glasses) if you have
to. Pastor Emmanuel said; searching means finding facts, looking for the
information you need to know about him or her… kind of like a Research. By the
time you decide to point your gun, it means you have found something…though
might not be too sure yet, but at that time you go spiritual so the Spirit can
reveal to you those things you must know which your naked eyes could not see. By
the time you switch on your telescope and start aiming, you are already closer
to (certain about) the target. At this point you may get to see deeper stuffs, some of
which you might not completely like or agree with. But don’t run away or give
up now, (except for inexcusable reasons/factors). The aiming position is not the time to start comparing her with Dipo’s
girlfriend or Emeka’s sister. Nurudeen’s secretary may look classier but that’s
from the find point of view and not
the aiming point of view. You will
never find a perfect woman. The reason why she’s going to be your wife is so
that you can cultivate her. Cultivation means;
a.
If you like
her to be orobo, feed her! Or if she’s showing tendencies of blowing up,
prepare to join her for early morning jogging
b.
If he has an
odour, teach him to bath more often and use colognes/perfumes
c.
If she’s the waka-waka type, make her spend time on
learning stuffs she may not already know...like driving, trading,
marketing/advertising, decorations/horticulture etc.
d.
If he’s
always dropping stuffs everywhere in the house (scattered), does not wash his
hands before eating or presses the toothpaste from the middle of the tube
rather than the end, help him arrange his stuffs, teach him to wash, and buy
him his own toothpaste so you don’t get to see the mess he’s making of yours
and peace will reign.
Cultivation means making her
better than you met her. That’s what love is all about. No matter what position
you are in the Principle of a Hunter,
try to review your standpoint today and make the right shot in good time! Pull
the trigger!!
Note:
Curiosity kills the cat. If you
deliberately sneak into FCMB at Ojuelegba road to see Bisi, hmmm… you are on your
own o! May your ministry move forward! You will find her on the second enquiry
desk to your left. But her name is not Bisi. As a matter of fact, all the names
I used here are not real names. #tongue out#
Thank you!
